Playuelita, or Cayo Playuelita is a beach and small island located in the South American country of Venezuela. Administratively it is part of the western state of Falcón.The name playuelita refers to the fact that it is an island and cay of smaller size than the neighboring southern Playuela.It is a protected area as part of the Morrocoy National Park. It is a popular tourist attraction among vacationers of that country, for the color of its sand and crystal clear waters. It is located south of Boca Seca. Most of this section of the keys is covered with thick vegetation.
