The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit Argentina depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.

Tourist Season in Argentina

Travel to Argentina is best arranged during the summer months from December to February. The central and southern parts of the country have very good conditions then, slightly worse in the northern regions, as they experience very high temperatures during this time. There is a trekking season in the mountains and a beach season on the coasts.

The spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) months are also a very good time to travel. Most areas experience sunny and still warm weather. Slightly cooler temperatures than during summer provide comfort for hiking and sightseeing. Nature is in bloom, taking on luscious colors and making your visit more enjoyable.

The winter months (June through August) are in the off-season. The prevailing low temperatures can make travel difficult in some regions. However, it's a good time for winter sports enthusiasts, as the ski season continues in mountainous areas until October.
