At Glenloch Interchange it intersects with William Hovell Drive, Tuggeranong Parkway and Caswell Drive. The road is freeway standard from the Commonwealth Avenue overpass to Glenloch Interchange. Parkes Way is named for prominent Australian federalist, Sir Henry Parkes. ()
