Facts and practical information

The Capuchin Church of Gmunden is located in the Upper Austrian municipality of Gmunden in the district of Gmunden. The church was built in the years from 1636 to 1638. Since the abandonment of the monastery in 2007, the sacred building is a branch church to the Roman Catholic parish church of Gmunden in the Gmunden Deanery of the Diocese of Linz. The Capuchin church is subordinated to the patrocinium of the Visitation of Mary. The church and the former monastery complex are listed monuments.
