Luberegg Castle is located in St. Georgen near Emmersdorf in the district of Melk in Lower Austria on the left bank of the Danube. Built around 1780 by Joseph Weber von Fürnberg, it first served as a lumbering and postal station, then as the seat of various state institutions.
