The Basilica of St. Michael in Absam in the Austrian state of Tyrol, also known as the Basilica of Mary in Absam, is a Roman Catholic parish church and the most important Marian shrine in Tyrol. It was elevated to the status of basilica minor by Pope John Paul II on June 24, 2000. In terms of ecclesiastical law, it belongs to the diocese of Innsbruck.
