St. Mark's Church is located in Gstättengasse at Ursulinenplatz in Salzburg's old town. The patrocinium is on St. Mark's Day. Since it was the convent church of the Ursulines until 1957, it is also popularly called Ursuline Church. The Roman Catholic Baroque church was given to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic community in 1999.
The baroque building was erected according to plans by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. The former Ursuline Church and the Ursuline Convent, including the inner courtyard, are listed as an archaeological site of hope and are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Historic Center of the City of Salzburg.
