Facts and practical information
The hermitage and chapel of Saint Thibaut is a religious building of two rooms adjoining a chapel, the whole being built on a wooded rocky spur dominating the Ourthe valley in front of the village of Marcourt, in the province of Luxembourg. Near a spring with so-called "miraculous" waters, a cult of Saint Thibaut developed in the 11th and 17th centuries. The hermitage was built in the 17th century and hermits lived there until 1968.
