Praia do Sossego, Niterói

Praia do Sossego is located in the city of Niterói, in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. A small beach that is located between the ocean beaches of Piratininga and Camboinhas. It has access by trail or by sea. It can be accessed by sea or through a paved trail, but steep, between the houses and then down a trail between rocks.

Because it preserves much of its natural characteristics, both in what concerns its ecological characteristics and its original landscape features, Sossego Beach allows us to know a little bit of the city of Niterói's coast before its great urban growth. Because of these characteristics, Sossego Beach belongs to the Municipal Natural Park of Niterói, an integral part of the Niterói Mais Verde program.
