The São Paulo Cathedral, or Catedral da Sé de São Paulo, stands as one of the most magnificent examples of Gothic Revival architecture in Brazil. Located in the Praça da Sé, the heart of São Paulo city, this grand church is not only a place of worship but also an architectural wonder that attracts tourists and architecture enthusiasts from around the globe.

The cathedral's construction began in 1913 and took four decades to complete, finally being consecrated in 1954. Its design is the work of German architect Maximilian Emil Hehl, who envisioned a church that could hold up to 8,000 people. The São Paulo Cathedral boasts an impressive length of 111 meters and a width of 46 meters, with its twin towers soaring to a height of 92 meters, making it one of the largest cathedrals in the world.

The interior of the cathedral is just as breathtaking as its exterior, with its stained glass windows, which number over 200, casting a kaleidoscope of colors onto the intricate stone work. The central nave is adorned with a beautiful altar, and the organ, installed in 1954, is one of the largest in Latin America, containing over 12,000 pipes.
