Marajó is a large delta island in the state of Pará, Brazil. It is the main and largest of the islands in the Marajó Archipelago. The island is bordered by the mouth of the Amazon River to the west and northwest, the Atlantic Ocean to the northeast, the Pará River to the south and by Marajó Bay to the east. ()
