The Torre Panorâmica de Curitiba, also known as Torre da Telepar or Torre das Mercês, is a telecommunications tower located in the Mercês neighborhood in the city of Curitiba, capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná.
The tower was inaugurated on December 17, 1991 by the state-owned company Telepar as a support for microwave antennas. Due to the privatization of the telecommunications sector, it once belonged to Brasil Telecom and belongs today to Oi.
Because of its peculiar characteristic, it has become a belvedere in the city, and consequently, another tourist attraction. It is the only telephone tower in Brazil with a belvedere open to visitors.
