Praça do Relógio, Brasilia

Praça do Relógio is a square located in the center of Taguatinga, in the Federal District. It is home to the Regional Administration of Taguatinga and the Praça do Relógio station of the Federal District Metro. It has public bathrooms open from 6:00 to 22:00 and a cab stand.

Many residents complain about the lack of security and robberies in the area. In order to curb them, the regional administration promised the installation of a police station in early July 2009, and was once again announced on the occasion of the inauguration of the light fountain in March 2010, but only materialized in April 2012, with the inauguration of the Community Safety Station. Some residents also complain about the constant lack of police officers at the post.
