Qingdao Zhongshan Park is a city park located at 28 Wendeng Road, Shinnan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China. The park was originally established in 1901 by the German colonial government's forestry department as a botanical testing ground, opened as a park in 1912, renamed "Asahi Park" after the Japanese occupation of Qingdao in 1914, renamed "First Park" after the return of Qingdao's sovereignty to China in 1922, and changed to its current name in 1929. After the return of Qingdao to Chinese sovereignty in 1922, it was renamed "First Park" and changed to its present name in 1929. Zhongshan Park is now the largest comprehensive park in Qingdao, and an important tourist attraction in the city.
