China Plaza is the third largest shopping center in Guangzhou besides Tianhe City and Zhengjia Plaza. It was developed by Guangzhou Prosperity Real Estate Development Company Limited and invested by Hong Kong Prosperity Group Limited, and opened for operation in 1999. It is located at the junction of Zhongshan 3 Road and West Beiba Road in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, formerly the Jiangnan Rubber Factory, a military facility, and is located on the cover of the subway Martyrs' Cemetery Station, directly opposite the Guangzhou Uprising Martyrs' Cemetery.

China Plaza covers an area of 35,000 square meters and has a floor area of 170,000 square meters. It is a large comprehensive shopping center that includes shopping, dining and entertainment facilities, with a nine-story ground floor and the longest outdoor elevator in the country reaching the ninth floor. A parking garage is located in the basement on the second to fourth floors, providing approximately 1,200 private parking spaces. Behind the plaza is the China International Center, a Class A office building.
