The Caliwood Museum is a museum of technological character, located in the west of Santiago de Cali, near the Gato del Río and the Museo de Arte Moderno La Tertulia and diagonally from the Librería Nacional del Oeste and the Galería de Arte La Sucursal. The institution stands out for its emblematic collection of cinematographic, photographic and phonographic equipment that shows the evolution of filming and film exhibition equipment used in Colombia, in the world and especially in the southwestern region of the country, equipment and devices that maintained their analog character until well into the 1980s.
