Cuban grassquit

The Cuban grassquit is a delightful small bird belonging to the tanager family and is closely related to Darwin's renowned finches. If you ever find yourself in the Bahamas, Cuba, or the Turks and Caicos Islands, you might be fortunate enough to encounter one of these avian companions. They inhabit a diverse range of environments, including lush subtropical and tropical lowland forests as well as montane forests. Additionally, they can be found in arid shrublands and even in regions where forests have been significantly degraded.
