Svatá Hora is an important Baroque complex and pilgrimage site on a hill near Příbram. The complex of Svatá Hora consists of a rectangular complex of 80 × 72 m amphitheatres with four chapels in the corners; inside, on a high stone terrace, stands the originally Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, rebuilt and enlarged in 1660-1673 with the participation of the architect Carlo Lurag. The northern wing of the amphitheatre is adjacent to the former Jesuit residence and convent and from the north-west corner of the complex, covered stairs lead to Příbram. In 2015 and 2016, Svatá Hora underwent extensive reconstruction.
