Lipý Castle, or rather the ruins of the castle, is located in the centre of Česká Lípa in the Liberec Region. The original Gothic water castle from the 13th century was rebuilt in the 17th century into a Renaissance chateau, which was largely demolished after World War II. After 1995, the remains of the original castle are being restored and the Lipý Water Castle is used for cultural events in the town. It is protected as a cultural monument, entered in the register under number 33047/5-2772.
