Náměšt' nad Oslavou Castle is originally a Gothic castle, which was later rebuilt into a Renaissance castle by the Žerotín family. In 1949 the castle was opened to the public and a collection of tapestries was installed. In 2001 the castle was declared a national cultural monument. It is administered by the National Heritage Institute.
In 2020, he was awarded the Golden Partridge - Vysočina Region Award for Cultural Achievement of the Year 2020, he won 1st place in the Cultural Activity category for the event The Revived Castle in Náměšt' nad Oslavou.
