Zvířetice is a ruin of a Renaissance chateau rebuilt from an original Gothic castle above the village of Podhradí about two kilometres southwest of the town of Bakov nad Jizerou at an altitude of 250 metres. The ruins of the castle have been protected as a cultural monument since 1967.
