Přerov Castle is a Renaissance four-winged castle building from the first quarter of the 17th century, built on the site of the original castle in the town of Přerov. The tower of the castle was completed in 1997 after 225 years. Originally a 12th century castle devastated during the Hussite wars. It was probably rebuilt into a late Gothic castle by William of Pernštejn. Later modified in the Renaissance style. During the Thirty Years' War it was attacked by the Swedes and the Wallachians, but was not destroyed. Today used as a regional museum.
