Vartenberk is a Renaissance castle in the town of Stráž pod Ralskem in the Liberec Region. The castle was built by rebuilding the original Gothic castle and its name comes from the expression Warte auf dem Berg, which means guard on the mountain in Czech. The name of the castle is often given only in Czech: Stráž. Since 1968 it has been protected as a cultural monument.
