The Frederiks Værk Industrial Museum is a state-recognised cultural history museum. The museum covers the entire municipality of Halsnæs. The museum received state recognition in 2004. Its area of responsibility is recent times, with the following specialties: factory and industrial activity within Halsnæs Municipality and the life and work of Knud Rasmussen nationally and internationally.
The aim of the Industrial Museum Frederiks Værk is to collect, document, research and tell about these important aspects of our shared Danish history.
Industrimuseet Frederiks Værk runs a number of museum units: the Archives, Arsenalet, Projektilmagasinet and Krudtværket in Frederiksværk - as well as Knud Rasmussen's House in Hundested.
