Fladstrand Church, located in the northern part of Frederikshavn was built in the period 1688 - 1690 when Fladstrand was a small fishing village.
Before the completion of Frederikshavn Church in 1892, the church functioned as the church of the city of Frederikshavn.
In the early 1900s the church was reduced to a funeral chapel and only in 1945 was the church rededicated for worship.
