Janum Kjøt near Brovst in Han Herred is one of Jutland's largest migratory boulders, brought here from Norway during the last ice age.
The stone consists of gneiss and granite and is almost 7 meters long and 4 meters wide, while the greatest height is 3.5 meters. Its weight is estimated at between 200 and 250 tonnes.
If you look closely at Janum Kjøt, you will find cushion coral, which is very common on rocks in Norway and Sweden, but is found in only a few places in Denmark.
