Facts and practical information
Sejerø Church is located in Sejerby on Sejerø in Sejerø Bay.
The construction of the church began at the end of the great church-building period, 1250 - 1300, and initially consisted of a choir and nave built of red monks' stone.
Over the years the church has been extended with a porch, sacristy and tower.
By the Reformation the building of the church was largely complete with subsequent minor alterations and repairs up to the present time
In Sejerø Church hangs a nave, which is a copy of Christian IV's ship "Trinity". The model was built by sailors who sailed on the ship. The model ship is from 1659.
