Malecón del Salado or Malecón del Estero Salado, built under the municipal administration Jaime Nebot Saadi, in 2009, the project spans from the Faculty of Physical Education of the University of Guayaquil to the Velero Bridge, from there it changes its name to Malecón del Suburbio, in front is the Parque Lineal, it is part of the urban regeneration of Guayaquil from 1999-2006.
It currently has a monumental fountain with water games and multicolored lights. The work located in the water mirror of the coquettish Estero Salado, between the park of the citadel La Ferroviaria and the bridge 5 de Junio.
