When Is the Best Time To Visit Falkland Islands?

The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit Falkland Islands depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.

Tourist Season in Falkland Islands

When traveling to the Falkland Islands, it is best to plan your trip during the summer between November and March, when it is warmest and the sun shines the longest. This is also the best time to admire the abundance of nature and observe animals. A cruise to Antarctica can also be arranged during this time.

The slightly cooler and wetter transitional months (April, September and October), although the weather is not ideal then, are still a good time to visit.

When organizing a trip during the winter months (May to August), you should take into account increased precipitation and lower temperatures associated with strong winds, which can make your stay somewhat difficult.
