Climate of Fiji

Fiji lies in a humid equatorial climate zone, influenced by the southeastern trade winds. The weather is characterized by high temperatures reaching 26°C - 30°C and high humidity. Rainfall varies and oscillates between 1,500 mm - 3,000 mm. Year-round visitors can also expect high water temperatures, ranging from 25°C - 29°C. The Fiji Islands can distinguish between the rainy and dry seasons.

The rainy season covers the months from November to March. Then the humidity increases and the temperature reaches above 30°C. Precipitation becomes more numerous and intense and occurs in the form of short, sudden downpours, usually taking place in the afternoons. During this period, the islands are overgrown with lush vegetation, and you can also count on sunny and sunny days from time to time.

The dry season is the months from April to October. It's cooler then, with temperatures dropping to around 26°C, and rains are sporadic. Most days are bright and sunny.
