The fort of Fouras or semaphore of Fouras, is a fortification of the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries built on the site of a medieval castle in Fouras, a town located in Aunis in the department of Charente-Maritime.

It is also improperly referred to as the Vauban fort by tourist brochures, even though the construction of the original citadel predates Vauban's intervention.
