The Napoleonic Museum of the Island of Aix is a French museum located in Île-d'Aix in Charente-Maritime, which is part of the Napoleonic National Museums. Sharing the label Musée de France with the nearby Musée Africain, it houses furniture, weapons, clothing, portraits and various objects evoking the epic and legend of Emperor Napoleon I who stayed in this house from July 8 to 15, 1815 before surrendering to the British and leaving France permanently.
The Emperor's House and the gardens have been classified as Historic Monuments since September 24, 1925 for the former and December 17, 1934 for the latter.
