Basilique Sainte-Anne, Sainte-Anne-d'Auray

The sanctuary of Sainte-Anne-d'Auray, composed mainly of the basilica Sainte-Anne-d'Auray, is located in Sainte-Anne-d'Auray in Morbihan in France. It receives many visitors being the most important place of pilgrimage in Brittany, and welcoming more than 800 000 visitors per year, the majority of which are pilgrims. Each year, 20 to 30,000 pilgrims attend the great pardon of Saint Anne on July 26, which ranks third among French pilgrimages after the shrine of Lourdes and the Basilica of Saint Theresa of Lisieux.
