Sainte-Chapelle stands as an architectural gem nestled in the heart of Paris, France. This Gothic-style church, renowned for its breathtaking stained glass windows, was consecrated in 1248 and originally commissioned by King Louis IX to house his collection of Passion relics, including the Crown of Thorns.

The church is a masterpiece of the Gothic period, boasting some of the most exquisite stained glass work in the world. Its 15 magnificent windows depict 1,113 scenes from the Old and New Testaments, narrating the history of the world until the arrival of the relics in Paris. The vibrant colors and detailed storytelling in the glass create an atmosphere of divine light within the chapel's walls.

Sainte-Chapelle is divided into two levels: the lower chapel, which served as a parish church for the palace staff, and the upper chapel, which was reserved for the royal family and the relics.
