Temple du Collet-de-Dèze, Le Collet-de-Dèze
Facts and practical information
The temple of Collet-de-Dèze is a Protestant religious building located in the commune of Collet-de-Dèze, in the French department of Lozère. It is one of the oldest temples in France and is one of the very few temples that survived the destruction during the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes and has since resumed its functions. Only three other temples - one in Vialas, still in Lozère, the other in Poët-Laval in the Drôme and the one in Sainte-Marie-Mines in the Haut-Rhin - were not destroyed and have kept their function.
