Aiguille des Pèlerins - Secteur du Plan

The aiguille des Pélerins, which culminates at 3 318 m of altitude, is one of the needles of Chamonix in the Mont-Blanc massif. It is located on the range which is detached in the north of the aiguille du Plan, between the aiguille des Deux-Aigles and the aiguille du Peigne.
It took its name from the hamlet of Pélerins, now a district of Chamonix.
The Grütter ridge, the Carmichaël route are respectively #25 and #31 of the 100 most beautiful routes of the Mont-Blanc massif by Gaston Rébuffat.
On the north face, the 1992 ascent of Beyond Good and Evil, by Andy Parkin and Mark Twight, marks the beginning of the "modern mixed".
