The Rennes Opera House is an Italian-style hall located in downtown Rennes. It was designed by Charles Millardet and built by Pierre Louise in the nineteenth century. It is located in the Place de la Mairie, which is the main eastern side facing the town hall.
Today the building hosts mainly lyrical art and organizes some local events, such as the Opera en plein air.
It has been listed as a historical monument since October 29, 1975.
