The Château du Rocher in Mézangers in Mayenne is a 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th century residence. Located on the edge of a pond, it is built in granite, it is lit by high windows and flanked by towers with pointed roofs. A gallery of five basket-handle arches, animating the Renaissance facade, connects the old main building of the 13th century to the chapel of the castle. This one is surrounded by French gardens, and is the subject of a classification as a historical monument since August 13, 1963.
