The castle of La Buzine is a 19th century building located in the 11th district of Marseille. It owes its fame to Marcel Pagnol, who evoked it in his Souvenirs d'enfance and was its owner.
Since 2010, it has been home to the "Maison des Cinématographies de la Méditerranée", managed by the Cinémathèque de Marseille and then by the Association du Château de La Buzine within the framework of a Public Service Delegation with the city of Marseille, owner of the Château.
