Facts and practical information
The chapel of the Gicons, better known as Mère Église, is a church of the XI and XII centuries, of Romanesque style, located near the village of Saint-Disdier on the commune of Dévoluy, in the Hautes-Alpes in France. Although left abandoned for long periods, the building is now in good condition, thanks to the work of the association of the friends of Mother Church and the involvement of the commune.
