The castle of Lion-sur-Mer is a building located in Lion-sur-Mer, France. In the 11th century the Moyon family owned a fortified castle there. This fortified building, now disappeared, lost its seigniorial status in the 16th century. The present castle built a little further away was partly built during the Renaissance period on top of 15th century cellars. The main building is listed and the rest of the property is registered as a historical monument.
