The Crocodile Farm is a French zoological park mainly dedicated to crocodilians, located in Pierrelatte, in the Drôme. It consists of a tropical greenhouse of 8,000 m2 and an outdoor course of 4,000 m2, where you can observe twelve of the twenty-three species of crocodilians identified in the world but also various squamates, birds and tropical fish. It is home to four species native to France: the spectacled caiman and the green anaconda, found in French Guiana, as well as the European cistude and the cattle egret, found in metropolitan France.
In addition to its tourist aspect, this farm created in 1994 by Luc and Eric Fougeirol, has actively participated in the conservation and protection of species by collaborating with scientists.
