Facts and practical information
The chapel Notre-Dame-de-l'Orme or chapel of the Elm, is a chapel located in the hamlet of Farget in the commune of Saint-Martin-du-Mont in the Ain department in France. One of its particularities is that the building was built around a tree in which is nestled a Pietà. The chapel of the Elm shares this singularity with the chapel of the Oak of Saint-Martin-de-Connée.
Since 1998, the chapel has been owned 50% by the parish association "Le Renouveau" and 50% by the diocese of Belley-Ars.
