The lighthouse of Chauveau facing the point of the same name off Rivedoux-Plage in the channel of Antioche, the only habitable lighthouse at sea in the department of Charente-Maritime. Accessible on foot at low tide by high coefficients, it is located 1,200 meters from the tip of Chauveau. It measures 30.70 meters including 27.30 meters above the sea.
