The Basilica of Our Lady of Sion is a Catholic basilica built on the hill of Sion-Vaudémont, in the commune of Saxon-Sion, in the natural region of Saintois located south of Nancy.
High place of Marian devotion of the Duchy of Lorraine, the dukes came in pilgrimage on the Hill of Sion.
Like other places of pilgrimage dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is located in a place where the ancient Romans came to worship the Latin goddesses, succeeding a Celtic high place.
