Under the influence of the Polish priest François Wojtyla, cousin of John Paul II, the archdiocese of Cambrai cedes the management of the church to the association for the safeguard of the church of Notre-Dame-des-Mineurs of Waziers in 2001. It is the property of a diocesan association.
