The Chateau de la Chasse is located in the heart of the Montmorency forest, in the French department of Val-d'Oise, officially on the commune of Saint-Prix, at the limits of three others: Montlignon, Bouffémont and Domont, but physically on an excrescence taken from the commune of Montlignon, it is nowadays an architectural curiosity and bears the traces of multiple remodeling undergone during its history.
The Château de la Chasse has been registered as a historical monument since August 19, 1933.
