The castle of Charencey is a medieval fortress whose remains stand in the French commune of Chenecey-Buillon in the Doubs department and the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
The village of Chenecey was initially called Charencey and was located near the current hamlet of Granges Mathieu.
The ruins of the castle have been registered as historical monuments since April 8, 1991.
