Fort Queyras, formerly called "Château-Queyras", toponym preserved by the village that lies at the foot of the fort, is an old castle, of the second half of the thirteenth century, reworked by Vauban, formerly center of the castellany of Queyras, which stands on the town of Château-Ville-Vieille in the department of Hautes-Alpes, in the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
The castle was registered as a historical monument by order of November 29, 1948. Additional information can be found on the inventory sheet.
