The Saint-André gate, also called Langres gate, is one of the four gates pierced in the Augustan enclosure of Augustodunum with the Arroux gate.
Through this gate, dated from the 1st century, the road leading to Langres leaves Autun. The monumental gate was partially rebuilt in ancient times and then, in the 19th century, it was restored under the direction of Eugène Viollet-Le-Duc. It is classified as a historical monument since 1846.
